    ​Asharqia Chamber keeps pace with the International Day of Entrepreneurship by implementing several specialized events and activities

    Coinciding with the International Day of Entrepreneurship, Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Small and Medium Enterprises Center, has implemented several activities aimed at supporting the "entrepreneurship" sector, which comes in line with the Chamber's direction to support and care for the small and medium enterprises sector.

    The Chamber intensified its activity this week, which coincided with the International Day of Entrepreneurship last Sunday, where it held many events specialized in this field, including: “The Basics of Success of Small and Medium Enterprises”, in which several specialists participated in a direct meeting with several pioneers, during which they exchanged destinations Consider increasing the number of pioneers and providing them with ideas, proposals, and consultations.

    The Chamber also provided, through the specialists of the Free Entrepreneurship Consultancy Programme, which has been frequently implemented by its branches in Al Khafji, Jubail, and Al Qatif, as well as parallel sessions in the Asharqia Chamber of Entrepreneurs Incubation during International Entrepreneurs' Day, and witnessed significant interaction, as well as a workshop held in cooperation with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, "Project of Store Operating Guides", and explained all the information and procedures needed by the young business sector to enter this sector such as activity requirements and various working procedures for operating the activity, supported by files that help the trader establish his training as a feasibility study model, business plan and activity-related advice collected from the experiences of the business owners in the activity.


    The Chamber accompanied the International Entrepreneurship Day by producing a video that included meetings with senior officials and businessmen in the Eastern Region headed by His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud the Prince of the Eastern Region and His Excellency Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi and His Excellency the Secretary of the Eastern Region, Eng. Fahd bin Mohammed Al-Jubeir included awareness and motivational messages that summarized many years' experience and offered lessons learned in various areas that provided solutions to many challenges that may confront a pioneer or entrepreneur these messages were broadcast via their channels on social media under the heading "Message from" as broadcast through internal screens at Al-Rashid Al-Khobar complex to ensure that it reaches the most significant number of visitors.​


    In the same vein, the Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, Badr Razizi, emphasizes the role of the Orientale Chamber in supporting entrepreneurship, which she regarded as an inherent essence in her strategic plans, and always promotes the culture of self-employment among the people of the region, by implementing numerous programs, meetings and workshops targeting young men and women in the area to enable them to achieve success and creativity in their emerging projects. To meet the need of the entrepreneurial community in the area, the Chamber has established a business incubator aimed at guiding and accelerating the growth and success of emerging ideas, achieving administrative and technical training and guidance, qualifying the project to be accepted by investors, and promoting communication among entrepreneurs. "

    Al-Raziza explained that entrepreneurs in the Kingdom in general and the eastern region, in particular, demonstrate day by day that they are responsible. There are many success stories in entrepreneurship that deserve praise and pride and have been able to bring about significant development and change in the business world and inspire all of us and make us sure that our young people can succeed and achieve their goals. 

    Al-Raziza said that entrepreneurship is a contributory element and a main driver of the economy, and the state relies on it a lot, and it comes as one of the most important objectives of the vision aimed at diversifying sources of national income, noting that Vision 2030 aims to raise the contribution of small and medium enterprises in the gross domestic product to 35%, by 2030 AD.​​"
